Henan Hongbo Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with the goal of energy conservation, emission reduction, and green development, has invested in the construction of a modern advanced calcination line for desulfurization gypsum at the west entrance of Beihuaneng Qinbei Power Plant in Xiyaotou Village, Wulongkou Town, Jiyuan City, for the production of β - hemihydrate desulfurization gypsum powder for construction. The total investment of the company is 80 million yuan, of which 42 million yuan has been invested in the first phase. Currently, the production line built has an annual output of 200000 tons of desulfurization gypsum powder.

The required raw material gypsum is directly transported from the desulfurization gypsum yard of Qinbei Power Plant to the company's raw material warehouse. The desulfurization gypsum source of the power plant is stable and can fully meet the normal production needs. The company has designed this production line based on the mature process of 'two grinding and one burning, before and after homogenization' in cement production. The main equipment includes a dryer, a calcination furnace, a cooling furnace, a modified mill, etc. Both drying and calcination are indirectly heated by steam output from the low-pressure pipeline network of the power plant.

This production line has significant differences from traditional gypsum powder calcination lines and has unique processes in quality control.
(1) Raw gypsum measurement and cutting. In the raw material warehouse, advanced measuring scales are equipped at the inlet of the feeding equipment. Raw gypsum is weighed first and then discharged to ensure consistent material flow into the drying and calcination equipment.

(2) Fluidized state calcination. Adopting advanced fluidized bed calcination furnace, high-temperature hot gas is used to induce fluidized movement of gypsum in the fluidized bed, and the calcination of desulfurization gypsum powder is completed in a continuous fluidized state. The entire production process can ensure that each part of the gypsum powder can be uniformly heated.

(3) Forced cooling. The calcined desulfurization gypsum powder, with a temperature of up to 90 ℃, cannot directly enter the grinding system. This process has added forced air cooling equipment, which can quickly reduce the temperature of desulfurization gypsum powder to 60 ℃. Meanwhile, the water vapor contained in the cold air can accelerate the aging of calcined gypsum powder and significantly reduce the content of anhydrous AIII.

(4) Post homogenization treatment. The modified and ground gypsum powder is separately stored in three intermediate storage tanks, and then mixed in equal proportions from the three intermediate storage tanks before entering the finished gypsum powder tank. Finally, the product is packaged in ton bags and stored for 7-15 days. After passing the inspection, it leaves the factory.
