From May 23rd to 26th, 2020, the "53rd National Mortar Vocational Skills Certification Special Training and Chief Engineer Refining Record" was successfully held at the Yage Hotel in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, sponsored by China Mortar Network, National Building Materials Industry Building Materials and Structural Safety Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, National Building Materials Industry Vocational Skills Certification Station, and Guangdong Longxing Testing Co., Ltd. This conference is the first national mortar event of 2020, attended by more than 300 elites from the mortar industry across the country. This training conference focused on popular materials in the market such as lightweight plastering gypsum, gypsum based putty, and gypsum based self flowing materials. From formula design ideas to laboratory management, production control, and engineering applications, it comprehensively explained the various skills that gypsum mortar enterprise chief engineers should possess. The conference was held in a very lively venue, and the topics of the speeches were also diverse, benefiting everyone greatly.

Yang Jiaguo, Technical Director of Zhimeitang and Editor in Chief of Gypsum Building Materials Network, gave a keynote speech at the conference on the application research of vitrified microbeads in plastering gypsum and lightweight self leveling. The speech systematically elaborated on two group standards that are about to be submitted for review: "Expanded vitrified microbeads for plastering materials" and "β - type semi hydrated gypsum for lightweight plastering". It also reported on the research and development ideas and production formulas of insulation layer plastering gypsum, lightweight plastering gypsum, and cement-based glass bead lightweight self leveling. After the speech, the technical engineer of Zhimeitang demonstrated on site the construction application of the third-generation new masterbatch of lightweight plastering gypsum "one scraping flat" in Jiangxi Tianhong desulfurization gypsum and Hubei Xinyangfeng phosphogypsum. The speech and demonstration received unanimous praise from the audience.
